Wed. Preview: Sarah’s Burial – Jacob’s Blessing

Hi All,

Just wanted to give you a head’s up that this Wednesday night, our study will pick up in Genesis 22 (finish looking at the command to sacrific Isaac) and then we will try to look at the aspects of Dominion and Dynasty through Sarah’s burial, Isaac’s wife Rebekah, Jacob and Esau, Jacob’s dream (ladder), Jacob’s wrestling match, Joseph, and then if we can, we will see the blessing of Jacob in Genesis 49.10 that:

The scepter will not depart from Judah,

nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,

until he comes to whom it belongs;

the nations will obey him.

As we saw in David’s teaching in Revelation Sunday, this passage comes to have tremendous meaning to us today!  May God be praised for His Son…”Worthy is the lamb who was killed to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and praise!” (Rev 5.12)
