@26:30 “If the blood of Christ has been shed, where do you think there’s a possibility for failure? Have faith in Jesus and His work.” As the hymn says, there is indeed power in the blood of Christ. It has been offered once for all and needs not be shed over and over like the imperfect blood of bulls and goats. What encouragement it is for evangelism to know that it is the power of the gospel and the power of the blood of Christ that saves, not the eloquence or ability of the evangelist.

At the end of the sermon Steve asked, “Have you been purchased by the blood of Christ?” This is an excellent question for all of us to consider. When talking to others about Christ this would also be a good question to ask.
