We are excited to extend an invitation for you to visit us at Heritage. We have put together a list of typical questions that people may have prior to attending to help you feel as comfortable as possible as a first-time visitor.

How do I get to Heritage?

Our Sunday morning services are held in the Ambassador Room at the John Knox Village retirement community in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The address is 500 NW Murray Rd. Lee’s Summit, Missouri. We’d love to see you there!
From the intersection of 470 Highway and 350 Highway, go east on 350 Highway to the Chipman Road Exit. Turn right on Chipman Road, and then turn left at the first stoplight (Murray Road). Follow Murray Road south, past the Lee’s Summit Hospital and the John Knox Pavilion, until you see a parking lot that serves multiple building located on your right.

The entrance looks like this:

What is the worship style?

We seek to implement the Scriptural commands of worship in the elements of our service. Therefore, we have times of the preaching/teaching/reading of the Word of God, prayer, congregational singing of Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, and public testimony. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper and share in a meal together on the first Sunday of each month.

Do you offer a nursery or children’s Sunday School?

We do not have a staffed nursery or a children’s Sunday School. We do have a separate room that families with small children can use and still hear the worship service through overhead speakers. Currently, our families have decided to keep their children of all ages in the services. This does not mean that we are opposed to having a children’s Sunday School for younger ages; we are just not currently at a point of staffing and utilizing it.
